I'm hoping to find a slash line or two in a high fantasy (D&D, WoW, Dragon Age, etc inspired) or urban fantasy setting. I'm open to the ideas in this post, in my journal or anything that you might have.
Idea One: Slightly inspired by Wizard of Oz/Wicked's Glinda and Elphaba, I'd like something involving two sorcerers that were once allies/friends/lovers but now find themselves on opposing sides of a war. Perhaps they started as outcasts, hated and feared by the general populace, mastering magic together and becoming supremely powerful sorcerers that achieved immortality by performing dark rituals. Eventually they had a fight and separated. One made himself into a beacon of good in a land, hiding the fact that he was associated with the great evil and that he maintains his immortality through a lingering link with the other. The other is raising an army/resistance in opposition to the "good" order, feeding into the cult of fear that has developed around him. The two know they are quickly approaching a point where they will be forced to face each other in battle again, something neither is looking forward to especially now those old feelings are returning.
Idea Two: A witch and his familiar. A witch casts a ritual to summon and bind a familiar to him in order to protect and strengthen his magic. Alternatively a new king and the heraldry guardian of his family/kingdom (dragon, kraken, Phoenix, griffin, unicorn, etc).
