His much older lawyer boss whom he has a huge crush on, and the boy who made him realise he was gay only a year ago, who has now become his closest friend with benefits? But honestly, anything we can work out would be glorious.

I'm looking for a summer-y opposites attract line, ideally between a professor/librarian/writer and a more or less illiterate man. I'm not looking for romcom or meet-cute scenarios, so ic drama and struggle would make me a happy girl. In fact, I'm looking for two guys who are so obviously not made for each other that no one would ever consider them a thing. If it weren't for the sexual attraction (or tension?) between them, they would ignore the other on a good day, and make fun or talk about them behind their back for the rest of the time. But so they are stuck in this strange circle of butting heads and arguing that will eventually lead to them ending up in bed together.
The way I picture this line, it's an affair/a relationship/something that only exists in those two weeks of the year that character A spends in character B's country, but I'm open to moving one of the characters to create some more obstacles for them to bitch about deal with. I would find it really interesting if one of them would show up on the other's doorstep in need for help (could be financial help, a hurt/comfort~ish take with A facing a big loss, or something else entirely), however, this is just an idea and could be easily ignored.
PBs are open for discussion, as are the ages of the character (open to age-gaps and older characters in general). No AIM, so customs for discussion only.

Would anyone be up for a super angsty line where a couple is split up by first, the depression over losing a parent for one of them (mine), the other trying to help but there is a giant wall suddenly between them and the depressed one also has a tendency to take it out on his partner, which drives the other half of the couple into another man's arms, and eventually is caught in the act? Then we can jump ahead to them being forced into some situation together a couple years down the road? I'm hoping for 35+ characters. Tried this a while back and am missing it. Threading only, comments are screened and I'm very open to PBs on either end.
