Would anyone be up for a similar The Fault In Our Stars line? I'm good with following the path of the book and seeing how our characters make the story different (especially the end). For a more original line, I have 2 ideas already listed below but we can make up our own if you completely want.
I.: Character A (i'd play him) had a stroke of horrible luck and then semi good luck. After being diagnosed with cancer his grandfather passed away, leaving him a large sum of money. Deciding he wanted to not wither away, he took the money, took his meds and has been traveling the country living life. That's when he meets Character B and his plan to simply live life, and not give a fuck about anyone, comes to a halt. Any Ages are good. Character A was ideally going to be 17-21. Character B should be the same age or slightly older
II.: Character A (you'd play him) came back home only because his father is dying of cancer. Character A was always the black sheep of the family, problemed child, etc, but his father was always close to him. During a routine visit, at a different time than the rest of the family, Character A meets Character B, a cancer survivor who just got the news his cancer has come back, but is willing to fight. Through each other they find strength, answers to lies they've told themselves over and over again, and a trust neither of them has known before. Any Ages are good but Character A should be older by 3-4 years. I have some faces I'd LOVE but not at all required.
