Character A's parents died when he was very young. He'd been dumped from one foster home to another until the system finally just decided to place him in a boarding school and let that be that. So at sixteen, he's mostly come to terms with the lot he's been dealt in life. Things suck just for the sake of sucking and there's nothing he can do about it. Not until Character B turns up at the school, claiming to be a long lost relative with the records to prove it. He's there to take A away, back to the family that's been missing him all this time.
Not his real family, though, but the group that's been watching over him for all these years to ensure no harm would come to him until they had need of him.
Notes: This is a threading, mutant, slash line with an age gap. I'd love to find someone to fill B's role, an older, kind of haggard and downtrodden man who's spent the majority of his life fighting a losing battle against the experimental institution that's recently discovered and gone after A. A's age can change, other circumstances and situations can change, I'm easy.
