Alright, so, I just saw 50/50 and have had a sort of angsty SL in my head already, and I've figured out a way to make them both work. This is long, I know.
William Beckett has just broken up with Travis McCoy for one reason or another, and because he can't stand to go back to where they both live, he decides to go stay with Gabe Saporta for a while to get away from his life, pretty much. Gabe is with VickyT or some other woman, maybe even Bianca, that's negotiable. Bill and Gabe had a fling a very long time ago, back when they had just recorded Bring It, and it was swept under the rug--except Travis knows that that happened. So going to Gabe's is a bit of a slap in the face, because there had been jealousy issues. Before he goes to Gabe's and just before the break-up, Bill finds out he's got cancer, and that he's going to need to start chemo therapy soon. He didn't have time to tell Travis because the fight was so bad and so sudden. He's not wanting to tell anyone yet because his life is a mess and he's kind of in shock about everything--except for the fact that he still feels something for Gabe.
Gabe's always had a thing for William, and it's gotten to the point where he's almost done something about it dozens of times, but something happened to where he just couldn't, because it'd fuck with Bill's head and he doesn't want to do that to him. Only when Bill's on his couch, he feels it to the point that it's driving him nuts. One night VickyT leaves for a trip, and Gabe makes a move on Bill, which ends up successful. But Gabe doesn't want to leave Victoria, and he can't keep his hands off of Bill, either. Bill, knowing that he might die pretty soon, begins to just take what he can get, and doesn't want his condition to change anyone's minds, so he keeps it to himself, and goes with it.
Really, what I want to explore is how it'd effect Bill and Gabe emotionally, having Bill staying there and having this affair going on whenever they can manage to sneak around. It's going to be kind of heavy on the sexual part, but there's going to be some emotional development behind all of it. We can throw things into play like Bill telling everyone he's got cancer, possibly VickyT finding out, Travis trying to win Bill back, etc. I'd want to play Bill. I'd be willing to swap Gabe with Travis, maybe replace VickyT with Katy Perry in that situation. But there'll definitely be development for Gabe as well, considering he wants both and has to keep what he has going, or make a decision, and no he's not going to be able to be numb to the fact that Bill feels something.
Threading only please, and please please please don't take this on if you're going to flake or go nutso. ALSO if you ever wanted to take this kind of line to a community, we could do that. For now I wanna go with celeb, but we can change that as well, maybe to AU? I'm flexible, obviously haha.

I'm looking to get a couple of slash/threading psls filled. Longterm preferred.
I. Marriage Fraud
A slash take on the old 'Green card expires/Man doesn't want to go back home' idea. Either a young man who is married to an older woman meets the man of his dreams but is trapped in his marriage, or an older and openly gay gent who hears about the problems of the young man who has been working as a janitor at his apartment building for the past two years offers to marry him, so that the young man and his little daughter can stay in the US.
[No preference, willing to play either line and either role; would absolutely love a Diego Luna PB but definitely up for others]
II. 'December/December'
A very simple idea: two guys, A and B, meet and fall in love. Maybe it starts as an email contact of two guys talking about being trapped in unhappy marriages, maybe one of them has recently lost his wife of 20 years and the other tries to support him through his loss. There are several different possibilities for this line and I'm definitely up for brainstorming. I would just like to explore a fresh relationship between two older men who come with their own family/relationship background.
III. Other themes:
There are also various other themes I'm interested in, such as 'forbidden affair' or unlikely affair, killer/fan or killer/apprentice (horror and darkness and bloodshed), twisted power dynamics (the younger partner is the more dominant one, or a submissive top versus a dominant bottom), two guys stranded at a haunted motel (think The Shining), or a love/hate power struggle line. I'm also open for kinky themes (pm for details).
