Cameron nodded. "I didn't do a DNA scan, that takes a while to process. So I couldn't tell anything about your ancestry. I understand the disguise; humans tend to fear that which is different."
She put on her big Allison smile again. "I'm really only about a quarter human," she admitted quietly. "If I told you anything about the rest I would probably have to kill you. That would be an unpleasant end for the evening."
Cameron looked into Kurt's eyes. "Why the embarrassment when I saw through your disguise? Is society still that hard on the different in the future?"
