Cameron let her smile grow again andjchuckled ruefully. "Oh, I was trying to be funny. I guess I'm not very good at telling jokes. My mechanic doesn't like the Jaguar racing motor I had installed in my Austin-Healey. Says it is too newfangled. My banker only wants me to invest in safe old stocks like General Motors instead of new technologies."
She shrugged. "My driver's license says I am 22, so I came from the past. But I've been a professional dancer for two years, so does that make me two? And I've only been in New York for two months, so that makes me just a baby as far as New Yorkers are concerned."
