"Interesting," Sebastian murmured, because it was. "I've never found skin to be particularly nutritious."
He didn't smile, because he'd found his smile wasn't as disarming as most peoples' were and tended to cause humans to dwell on throwaway remarks.
"You might want to be watchful for them," he went on, brushing past the just slightly cannibalistic remark. "There have been strange creatures in the city lately. Creatures like monsters that appear and disappear into smoke. Things that New York has not seen before."
Sebastian was probably not the best welcoming committee for strangers dropping out of the sky. But then again, he felt he dispensed useful information.
