He was also quite certain that the man was babbling.
"Sir," he went for instead, since arguing a point like that wouldn't be productive. "I would refrain from mentioning that to too many people here. The locals are... simple people. They would not respond well to a man from outer space, especially if he's rambling about Earth being destroyed."
He lifted his chin a minute amount. Something the man had said sounded interesting. Perhaps there was hope for his sanity yet. "However, I am not one of those locals. What are these Reavers you've encountered, if they are not quite human and not alien?"
