Rose swallowed. She really didn’t like to think about being stuck in the 1960's for that long. Still, she refused to throw in the towel just yet. “I’ll keep an eye open for anything that might be useful anyway. Just in case.”

Rose shifted and pulled her phone out of her pocket. “Could you?” she asked hopefully. “Because a recharge would be fantastic. The Doctor’s really clever. So I may not be able to call him, but if anyone’s going to be able to get in contact, it would be him that would figure it out.” Rose had faith. Perhaps a bit too much, but it was there all the same.


She nodded. “Whatever it is, it must be really powerful,” guessed Rose. “And likely not something you would typically find in 1964.” Going with what she knew from past experiences, Rose assumed that they were dealing with some sort of alien. Figuring out a possible motive though was a bit trickier. She had first assumed that it was all connected to the Doctor in someway, but the man in front of her didn’t appear to know him, which pushed her to eliminate that possibility.
