She smiled at the Doctor waved at the couple. She was tempted to move a little closer to him just to bug him a litte, but a part of her was really missing the Doctor she had known first.

"I see," Romana thought it made perfect sense. After all, it had been mostly the two of them (plus K-9) during her time of the TARDIS. Although...

"I take it you and Adric parted ways then?" she asked. Of course they did. Companions were bound to leave sooner or later. "Well, it's a relief that even if people arrive singly they can find each other. Although it must be confusing if their timelines don't match."
