"Everyone knows that's where the smart girls hang out," Jaime informed him with a solemn nod. "Granted, my library's like, an hour away so it would be a hell of a trip just to hang out there." She heaved an exaggerated sigh before she grinned. "I'm only there part time anyway. I'm at the movie theater the other part of the time just so people don't think I'm square." Then, of course, there were the trips into the cities which usually wound her into a bar, and occasionally into a bed.
"I know everything," she said before leaning in like she had a secret. "I know there are several of them, and I know they can't get out, but neither can we. But ..." she leaned back. "Aside from that, honestly, I don't know anything. I just know it's fun to screw with them on the bulletin boards." She paused. "Which is very wrong and bad of me. Shame on Jaime." She sucked in her cheeks slightly and shrugged, though it did remind her she hadn't messed with them lately. Maybe she'd stick up something when she got back to the mansion.
"But ... yeah. The ... time traveling stuff's relatively recent, and once that started, we couldn't leave. I'm not sure if we could have left before then, but I know we couldn't after. I mean, it's a decent sized area, you know? And we've got the city, but it's weird."
