"With an I," he replied, an amused smile curving his lips. "My family had a thing for stars. Not many people pick that up right away, though. The usual response to my name is asking me if I'm serious so I appreciate your knowledge," giving her a playful wink.
He'd never really been a fan of sending drinks over, but he had used it a time or two. It felt a bit cowardly to him, but maybe birds liked it better; he could imagine it getting tiring, having bloke after bloke come over to say hello and having to shoot them down. It was easier to just refuse the drink.
"Suppose my next move is to actually buy you the drink I promised, if you're inclined," he raised his brows, lifting his own glass to take a sip.
