"Sirius," she repeated. "With an I or an E? Like the star or the opposite of amusing?" Either way, it was an interesting name, and she grinned a little. She'd kind of laugh if she found out it was with an E, and she'd have to wonder what his parents had been on.
"I bet the etiquette's probably the same as it is in English bars. I don't mind the occasional ridiculous line, but I think the more common route here is the sending drinks. Can't deprive the bartenders of their jobs as messengers," she pointed out, brows elevating slightly. "Or the ensuing confusion when a girl thinks the bartender was pointing at the tall handsome guy when he was in fact pointing at the shorter, not as handsome guy next to said handsome guy. I've seen that go down a time or two. Always hysterical. Even when I'm flat sober."
She regarded him, pale blue eyes sweeping over his face. "But so far, so good. Let's see what else you've got."
