"Bonus points for the accent," she replied. "I mean, if you'd come over here with just ... say, a Brooklyn accent or something, I wouldn't have been as interested in helping you out."
Jaime set her glass aside to free up her hand. Wiping the condensation off on her skirt, she extended her hand toward him. "Jaime Davies. What can I do for you?"
So far, this was a more interesting evening than she'd planned on, and she was very curious to see where it would go. The accent was neat, and 'help a bloke out' was a line she'd never heard before, so he got points for creativity as well. Didn't hurt that he was easy on the eyes, so with a little grin, she waited to see what was up.
