Susan sniffed. "It wouldn't have bothered me if you'd asked first. I think something like this would only work if everyone maintains a rather high degree of formal politeness. I say let it pass this time."
She looked back and forth at the other three. "To be honest, I don't care if anyone observes the magic I use, and will happily teach anyone who wants to try to learn what I do. I don't think much of it is teachable because I inherited it from my grandfather, but I'm willing to try."
"Be that as it may, I do like the idea of a guild hall of sorts, and regular meetings." Susan nodded toward Lily. "And some sort of support for the younger people. The ones that are taking their transition to this place harder than others. I don't have much in the way of funds to contribute right now, but would be willing to devote some time."
