"Parents use to be scared of me cause I knew things. Didn't want to accept my power," she looked down for a moment. "Most poeple just don't talk about it, like they can just make it go away." Sookie had been dealing with that for her whole life.
"Makes sense. Can you imagine the looks on some people's faces if they knew one day humans were born on another planet!" Sookie laughed. That whole thought excited her!
"You haven't?" Sookie is more then surprised. "I just figured with you being from all over the place, you would have by now. I didn't meet one till recently myself, but living in a small town I didn't expect to, really. There's a vampire bar close by us, but I never planned on going before then. My friends a werewolf and he's a good one, but some other ones that he knows are bad, drinking vampire blood and almost worshiping them." Sookie shook her head. "It's a huge mess if you ask me."
"They are trying to live in peace, or so they say. Fell in love with one, thought I could see the good in them. I thought he was different, but I found out he wasn't. I guess fairy blood is something vampires love and he knew all along." Every time she thought about it she just wanted to scream and cry. She was so stupid to trust Bill.
"You're that old!?" Sookie said in excitement. "That's so cool!" But, then she realized just what he was saying after and the fact that he must have lost so many people over those years. "Sorry, I didn't mean to. It's just, not every day you meet someone that isn't a vampire that's, that old." She stepped towards him and placed a hand on his shoulder in comfort. "I'm sorry. I know it must be tough." She could feel his sadness.
