Re: it's okay. :]
"You're telling me. Can't believe we were so foolish to think humans were it." The signs were there all along, but poeple were too stupid to realize the truth. Stupid or too scared. "Good to know they aren't all bad. Usually are in those films." Once upon a time Sookie wouldn't think to compare them to the films or what people think of when they hear the word alien, but after what happened with the vampires. She also believed in giving them a chance and thought they had good in them, she learned the hard way that, that wasn't the case. At least she didn't think so, with what Bill did to her.
Of course once he said he was an alien, Sookie changed her opinion once again. He didn't seem like a bad guy or a monster and sure wasn't little and gray. Maybe aliens weren't bad then, it was just so hard to tell now a days who was telling the truth and who wasn't. She was glad that she could read his mind, that made it a lot easier to figure him out. His mind was harder then usual though, there was just so much in there; lifetimes worth of stuff.
"Alien, but not alien," she nodded. "Can't believe we get out there one day. And, you don't look very alien. Bit crazy to think there are people that look just like everyone else, but are from another planet."
"Bon Temps Louisiana, lived there my whole life, love it there, but found out someone I trusted and loved lied to me. More then just lied, lied to me about everything and used me, so I was ready to get away. I'm so sick of dealing with vampires and werewolves! It brings you nothing but trouble and death." But, something told her she'd never really be able to get away from that.
"Makes sense, I can't read you as easily as other humans. Not sure how I'd be able to read aliens though, just know I can't read vampires. That you've had years of experience, so many that you think I won't believe you. It strange, there's just so much in you." She titled her head to the side and looked at him. "How old are you? And, what do you mean you lost everything?"
