Jack Harkness. ([info]harknessjack) wrote in [info]silverage,
it's okay. :]
Jack made an mhm sound at her question about the aliens and he shoved his hands in the pockets of his trousers. He looked over at her and smiled a little. "It's sort of funny how insignificant it all feels once you do realize what sort of creatures reside out there," he said looking toward the sky and squinting. "Not all aliens are bad though. The majority of them just want to live in peace and do their own thing." He turned his head back toward her when she started speaking that she was part alien.

"Well, I was born on another planet, you see," he said. He hadn't told anyone that before. "But by the time I was born, the human race had spread out over stars and galaxies, so really ... I'm not very alien," he exhaled slowly. "I don't find it strange at all though, you know," he looked at her then as she continued to speak to herself.

He frowned when she said the fairy thing. Well, they could have been different fairies than the ones who killed Estelle. Just another love that he had killed in his exploration of truth. It was going to be that way for the rest of time, why did he dwell on it so much. "And where were you before you came here? I get the feeling it isn't somewhere you wanted to be or that was very safe," he said, looking away again. "White light you say?"

He was confused for a second but turned to look at her again when a car roared by them. "I can feel it. I'm slightly telepathic. I have had years -- " Too many to count and more than she'd believe. " -- of mental blocking training. Where I used to work encouraged it. But since -- " I lost everything. " -- then, I don't really care anymore. I haven't got anything to hide."

He put on a charming smile. "So what do you see?"

[OOC: Feel free to have her 'read' the italics.]
