Jack Harkness. ([info]harknessjack) wrote in [info]silverage,
Jack had taken to looking around, watching the cars go by and trying to get a better read on just when in the 60s they were. He couldn't really tell because he couldn't actually get a pinpoint just based on the cars alone. He'd have to find a newspaper or something to have a look at in a minute, but for right now, he looked over at this woman again. The alien bit made him raise a brow, but not in the way she thought. "Ah, but there are aliens all over the place on Earth," he said and smiled at her a little bit, trying to make her feel somewhat better.

"No, I'm quite positive it's Earth," he said, waving a finger and looking around. He didn't see anywhere to get a newspaper like he had planned. Oh well, he'd have to find a store to get one at. "1960s Earth, to be exact," he replied before turning to look at her again. "And this Claudine ... what exactly kind of creature is she?" Jack was going with the fact that she was supernatural creature or an alien since the woman had mentioned aliens.

When she told him not to think her mad, he smiled reassuringly. "Oh no, I don't think you're mad," he replied and watched her take a step back. He could feel her poking around in his head; it was like the time Tosh was doing it with the alien amulet. At that time, he didn't want his thoughts prodded, but ... well, times had changed and Jack just didn't really care. "Find anything interesting in there?" he asked before tapping his temple with his finger.
