"It is definitely charming," Kurt agreed, chucking a bit. He supposed that was one way to put it, anyway. "And here I thought I'd only get to read about the 60s, without actually living in them."

Drink orders, right! Now, what the heck did he want? Having just turned twenty-one, Kurt hadn't really dipped his toe into the lake of alcoholism yet. But of course, Cindy already knew that and didn't seem to think he was a complete dork - she was here, right? "Just a Manhattan, please," he said to the waiter, and that was probably a good choice. The name of the drink matched the locale!

"How is the job hunt going?" he asked Cindy, once the waiter left. "Have you found anyone to hire you to jump from a great height yet?"
