She's the one from my world. And...yeah, she is basically bent on killing all werewolves.

And why would it being me make a difference? [He's with an Allison here, but he forgets sometimes how universal that was for all of them. She's not the important person to him she is to the rest. His Allison, his Alpha, is the one he cares about, but it doesn't necessarily translate to the others.]

[For a second, she blinks because this isn't her Scott--he's not the hunter. This is a boy, diminished somehow for his lack of darkness...staring at her with liquid brown eyes that make her hesitate.

By killing him. [Because that's the main point, in Scott's eyes. She's going to end someone's life and he doesn't understand how she can be so...detached from that.

He doesn't know anything about hunters and werewolves and codes. The supernatural was still hidden safely behind closed doors for him back home, he'd only dipped his toes in the water since he showed up here and he still didn't understand any of it anyway.]

I meant about the part where it's in a person's nature to hurt someone after they've done it before.

I know about your mom. In my world she was trying to murder my best friend at the time and that's why Derek bit her. [Her tone is matter of fact.] Admittedly, it made you go off the rails for awhile, but you realized that things really weren't as black and white as your grandpa brainwashed you into believing.

So do you hunt just werewolves, or other stuff too? And -- if you answer the latter, I'm going to need some clarification on the whole -- if someone's hurt people before they're going to do it again because it's who they are thing. [She arches her eyebrows.] Because I think there are some exceptions to the rule, and I don't think you should jump into any rushed judgments about all of this. You haven't even been here that long.

But he's not, Allison. I promise. I talked to him and he is going to get better. He bit me and I'm not afraid of him because I know Scott is good and he would never do that if he could help it.

He doesn't need to get hurt or for more things bad to happen to him, he needs help and he wants help and he wants to make it stop so he never hurts anyone ever again.

Please don't hurt him. [At this point, she's close to tears again.]

[Allison nearly cuts the feed then, because listening to this girl is unraveling her the way those goddamn kids did. She's making her consider compromise, again, and it makes her feel dirty, thick with revulsion.

She's got nothing but the tearful pleas of a banshee to stop her. She is justified in this.

...but it isn't like she hasn't made an exception before. She was just a lot more subtle, it didn't count. This wouldn't be distracting Grandpa, knowing her father would cut the wolves downstairs loose. This wouldn't be missing a shot she could have made while hunting an Omega. This...
