Blair was busy, as you would if you had Quidditch and classes and NEWTS to worry about. So it wasn't much of a surprise to find her in the Ravenclaw Common Room with a stack of parchment on one side, a half empty bottle of ink on another, several discarded quills and three heavy and rather moldy-looking tomes. She had finished scribbling the last inch of a fourteen-inch essay on poison antidotes and had moved on to the yet unfinished essay plan for the Health Sciences project. Her partner hadn't been much help, naturally, but Blair didn't mind so much. She preferred to work alone anyway. Scratching her head with the hand holding a loaded quill, she let out a frustrated sigh. "Sources," Blair muttered darkly under her breath, completely oblivious to the drop of ink that had fallen to her hair. "Whatever," she huffed and packed away everything. Blair left the rest of her books in her dormitory and began to make her way to the Library with the rest of her things.
It was the end of her busiest day of the week. Blair had DADA and Health Sciences, both of which she didn't mind too much. But she did have Potions and that was more than enough to mar her day. It was silly. The subject was mostly about following directions and Blair couldn't ever get the hang of it - she passed, of course, but it didn't come naturally. It basically felt like pulling teeth every single bloody lesson that she sometimes wondered why she even took it for her NEWTS in the first place. Still cranky, Blair crossed the Library threshold and made her way to one of the back shelves, where the librarian had arranged the number of health-related books. Struggling to remember which sexually transmitted disease she was supposed to be researching, Blair looked blankly at the shelf in front of her. Herpes? Gonorrhea? Human Papiloma Virus? HIV? AIDS? What the fuck was it?
