Lochfest, continued
Who: Everyone who wishes to attend
What: Loch Fest 76, a rock festival
Where: Loch Lomond, Scotland
When: July 18-20, 1975
Rating: tbd

Loch Lomond is a fresh water loch twenty-four miles long and with a variable width of between three-fourths of a mile to five miles, with an average depth of about 37 metres, and is located approximately 23 km north of the city of Glasgow. Along the eastern bank of the loch runs the West Highland Way. Also situated on the eastern side is Ben Lomond, the most southerly of the Scottish Munro peaks. On the south western shore can be found the Loch Lomond Country Club, host of many international events including the Scottish Open. On the western shore runs the A82, the main arterial road, but improvements are sorely needed and the locals complain constantly that it is a bottleneck.

Around 1841 the loch was immortalized in a well known song. The origins of the song remain unknown, but it is believed to have been penned by a Scottish soldier awaiting his death while in captivity. Another version holds that it was written by a Scottish soldier during the retreat from England as part of the 1745 Rebellion, while a third version tells of two brothers being held in captivity, and speaks of sacrifice of one for the other. No matter who wrote it, it is a lovely song - Oh, ye'll tak' the high road, and I'll tak' the low road, And I'll be in Scotland afore ye; But me and my true love will never meet again On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond and one which is famous the world over.

Let us fast forward now a wee bit. It is the year 1976. And Loch Lomond is about to become the host of the biggest such event in the history of the UK, one which shall eclipse and surpass the Woodstock Festival, held a mere seven years before in rural New York. Muggles and wizards alike, although of course the muggles are unaware of the nature of the wizards with whom they are sharing this experience. The organizers of the event, who think they have everything well in hand, are keeping a careful eye on the attendees. Tents are permitted, of course, and for those less hardy, some accommodation can be obtained nearby. But I am sure there are few who are willing to leave the site of such festivities to seek them.

Come one, come all, to the event of the season - Loch Fest 76 is now open!

Recap:

Sirius had to chuckle at James' determined doggedness - no pun intended - and he was grateful that there was no bird that he felt that way about. What a lot of bother. Although his parents had hinted that an arranged marrige was going to come his way soon enough, but he pushed those thoughts out of his head for now. For a moment he wondered if Regulus might be here, but the absurdity of that notion struck him too, and he simply snorted at himself, before turning back to the question at hand.

Food, what kind of food did they want? One look toward Remus and he knew the answer, easily enough. With a huge grin, he replied, "Why, chocolate, of course, mate, isn't that the best food in the world?" And he flashed Remus his infamous Sirius Black daredevil bon vivant grin.

The point of relationships and marriage wasn't a prominent thought in Remus' mind, but it was amusing to hear James' determination when it came to his attempt at courting Lily. One day he'd get the clue to tone it down, Remus just didn't know when that revelation would hit the thick headed boy.

Honestly, he hadn't been paying much mind to the thought of food until Sirius spoke. Chocolate. That was right in his top three major weaknesses, as everyone knew (but they didn't know it wasn't top of that list.) He supressed a blush with little success - damn Sirius and that smile - tearing his eyes away to at least pretend like he was looking at the concessions, a smile coming to his lips in spite of himself. "Shouldn't those words be coming out of my mouth?" He teased in an attempt to keep his mind focused.

Unlike the suave Sirius and the social lite James, Peter was scared shitless when it came to girls except for Lily. Not saying that Lily wasn't a girl because she was very female, but she was also a friend of his that helped him out and he was always on the off limits list because James liked her so darn much. That made it just easier to be around her. But back to why girls made Peter run to the hills. They just made him nervous, when he was nervous he tends to be clumsy, when he's clumsy he gets kicked out of stores, classrooms, or just embarrasses himself to death so bottom line. No girls even though they're really really pretty and soft...

"Chocolate sounds good," he mumbled looking around not really paying much attention.

James rolled his eyes, his stomach growling in protest as they stood there babbling about chocolate and his love life. Time was a wastin'! They needed to get food and hit the stage! So, in all the glory of James and his ADD, he spotted a particularly tasty looking counter and grinned. "I don't know about you gents, but I could go for some real food," he declared, unlinking his arm from the line and wandering off toward the inviting smells of something sure to be deep friend and or greasy...possibly both. They would either follow or not, that was up to them.

Sirius was having a moment of his own, his attention being strenuously torn between chocolate and Remus, the two ideas merging into one fell swoop, his eyes lighting upon a line that was shorter than the others, and without conscious thought he grabbed Remus by the arm and dragged him toward the Mecca which was in the opposite direction from that taken by Mr. Potter. "I can smell it, Remus," he murmured in fascination, his mouth already salivating in anticipation, "Can you smell it, Remy?"

Their little group separated in the blink of an eye, leaving him confused for a moment. This wasn't uncommon really, James took his own direction more often than not and Sirius was the same way. Inevitably, he ended up at Sirius' heels, which left a very confused Peter most of the time. He couldn't help but smile a bit to himself as he followed most willingly. He couldn't say he wasn't happy to be alone with Sirius, it just put an odd sort of weight on his mind with how he felt about him, those feelings still kept to his mind alone. "You know me too well," he laughed, the chocolate already piquing his senses. His two major weaknesses: Sirius and Chocolate.

Sirius pulled Remus until they were at the end of the rather short line, keeping a protective hand upon his arm lest the surging crowd around them accidentally separate them. Only two people stood between them and paradise. As they waited, Sirius let his eyes drift over the menu on the back wall, which spoke of so many types of chocolatey goodness, to the crowd around them where he thought he spotted a familiar face. "Remus," he said, tightening his grip on the boy's arm, and nodding toward the sea of faces, "I thought I saw that lunatic Trelawney standing out there, do you see her too or am I hallucinating?"

He followed more than willingly, keeping close to Sirius as they made their way over to the line he had spotted. Merlin, where would he ever start? Chocolate was a simple fact of his life and there were so many choices it was boggling. It took him a moment to realize Sirius had said his name, he was so caught up in the menu, but when he noticed the pressure on his arm he looked over. "Hm? What? Sybill?" He cocked his head slightly, turning again to look out into the crowd, leaning this way and that to get a good look. This didn't seem like a place for her, not to Remus anyway, the poor girl. And, Merlin's beard, Sirius was right. "You shouldn't be hallucinating," he smirked, "unless you or James put something in the pumpkin juice this morning I should know about," he teased, nodding out into the crowd. "I see her, just there. Poor thing, she looks lost."

"Would we do that?" Sirius mock protested, although the answer was undoubtedly yes if they could get away with it. "Quick, look away!" Sirius cried out in horror as he thought Trelawney was turning toward them. He put his arm about Remus and turned him hastily so that his face was not visible should the crackpot happen to look their way. Although now, because of the angle at which they had been standing, his face was buried in Sirius' chest - for now, at least, Sirius was the taller of the two, though that would not always be the case.

He froze in that position, watching Sybill, and as she turned her head, craning as if searching for someone or something, he quickly bent his own head, running smack dab into Remus' shoulder.

"Of course you would," he teased and there was no doubt in his mind if it wasn't for the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Potter, they would have done just that. He was taken by surprise by Sirius' sudden panicked outburst, as if Sybill's presence might cause him to burst into flame or something (though, he would admit, she was...odd.) Unfortunately, Sirius' sudden move placed him in quite the precarious position. Not that he was entirely complaining, but considering the situation it was more awkward than good for him.

If not for carefully practiced calm, he might be hypervenhilating. He took a deep breath to calm himself, but that proved to be a terrible idea. All he managed to inhale was his scent, which entirely clouded his senses. Get it together, Remus. He bit his lip, unconsciously holding his breath now with Sirius so close. Merlin, how was he going to make it through the whole concert without going completely mental? Again, with that carefully practiced facade of serenity, but would he manage to pull off pretending there wasn't something on his mind? Maybe...maybe not.

"Is she gone," he asked softly, completely unmoving, not meeting his gaze, not yet, lest he give too much away.

Just why Sybill Trelawney panicked Sirius so is hard to say - he had gotten the idea somewhere and it had taken hold in his fertile overactive brain that she had a thing for Remus, and he was protecting his friend from her - or somehow that is how he perceived it. The truth of the matter was a bit different, but Sirius was in no position to accept that truth yet. He watched the confused redhead as she lumbered out of sight, sighing in relief, his breath warm against Remus' neck, unwilling to move, or to disentangle himself from him quite yet.

"Mmhmm," he murmured, "maybe she'll fall into the Loch, her and her bloody crystal ball." His body was sending him all the wrong signals and his brain was starting to tell him that perhaps he should move away - but he wasn't listening, not at the moment.

There were too many things going on in his head right now, even for Remus. There never was a doubt in his mind, not since he had realized just how he felt about Sirius, but there was the simple fact he had formed in his mind that Sirius couldn't feel the same for him. But that didn't stop him from wondering, that being the case and if Sybill was gone, why were they still so close? He shivered slightly, feeling Sirius' breath against his neck and for a moment he considered the ulterior: what if he was wrong?

Despite how comfortable he felt there, so close to Sirius, he carefully ducked away, stepping back away from him. He tried his best not to let his emotions get the best of him, but if he didn't move now he might let something slip better kept to himself. "Wouldn't that be something," he said absently, suddenly aware they were next. Chocolate was the last thing on his mind now.

"I...I'm not very hungry now," he sighed, stepping from the line. "You go ahead, I'll get something later." Getting through Lochfest this way wasn't going to be easy...he didn't even want to think of the coming school year.

Sirius felt a sour taste in his mouth when Remus pulled away from him in that way, and his face flushed as he cursed himself for being a major idiot, and pushing him away. What was wrong with him anyway? Frustrated, he ran his hand through his dark locks, licking his lips, trying to think, and quickly. But it was too late, things were now bolluxed up. He took a step after Remus' retreating form, then another, but before he could gain on him, he was beset by some giggling girls who surrounded him and began asking him silly questions about how he was. And he realized that he had to play the part, or someone might suspect the secret he was harboring. And if that someone was Remus, why he would simply die.

He answered their questions automatically, without much thought, and his eyes never left the retreating form of his friend, his heart sinking lower with each step.

If only Sirius knew that that wasn't the case. Remus stopped no more than a few feet away, rubbing his eyes with a heavy sigh. Had he done the right thing, pulling away? Was there something he was missing? He turned, looking back at where Sirius stood, now surrounded by a knot of young witches. That answered his questions easliy. There was nothing he was missing, no err in his choice. Sirius was caught up in girls like any normal boy, like their other mates and Remus was the oddball, as usual.

He swallowed at the uncomfortable knot in his throat, looking back at the boy he felt so strongly for, a hint of regret in his gaze. There was no one in the world he'd rather be with than Sirius, he just didn't know how to tell him so or if he even should.

He looked on, unable to move away but unable to go back.

Having a pretty girl on one's arm is an intoxicating experience indeed, and Ludo felt a thrill go through him which was only enhanced by the excitement of the situation in which they found themselves, here in the midst of what promised to be the biggest rock concert ever held - heady stuff indeed. But it wasn't the situation that was causing his heart to thump like a big bass drum in his head, it was the touch of this girl. He had never felt quite like this before, and it took him a moment to overcome his reeling head before he took hold of himself, and led her to the concession stand, where he took a chance and ordered for her. The girl behind the counter presented him with two plastic glasses filled with a fruity concoction which actually fizzled most pleasantly, and there were pieces of actual fruit at the bottom. They had been given the appellation of Loch-in-vars, and seemed to be the most popular item sold, judging by the cries and demands of the other patrons about them.

Ludo handed Marly her drink with a smile. "Want to walk around while we drink these?" he offered, hoping that they could talk for a while, and thinking they would have a better chance of being heard away from this noisy crowd of concertgoers.

Marly was already having a marvelous time and the concert had hardly even gone under way. Of course it's always fun to meet someone new or get to know the person better than just the knowledge of a name, but when you hit it off right away, with a boy, a very cute boy, who just ordered her the most delicious drink, well it all just didn't hurt your chances of becoming friends with the lad now did it? At first she was a bit surprised he ordered for her, but pleasantly so, because she had no idea what to think of the cold, frothy, fruity liquid in her glass. She gave it a test sip and lit up, "Ludo, thank you, this is very tastey! Have you tried it yet?"

She smiled back at him, "I'd love, too. Lead the way." She looked around the grounds and saw there were many different paths they could take that would end them up in various secluded or nonsecluded areas.

"Not yet," he said with a grin, as he took an exploratory sip of his own drink. It was nice and cool and sweet without being cloying about it. Very nice indeed. Or was it the company he was keeping?

He took her arm with his spare, like a gentleman should, and drew her along a path, guiding her through the crazy crowd of concertgoers. Music was beginning to issue from the direction of the stage - probably some band, or more than one band, setting up, tuning up, rehearsing, whatever it was that they did before a concert. He realized that once the show was in full swing, they would probably not be able to talk very easily, as he'd been to concerts with his friend Gary before and they did tend to get rather noisy, so he took a chance that she would not take his actions amiss, choosing a path that led away from the hustle and bustle of the concert toward the peace and relative quiet of the loch itself. When in Scotland, after all...

Not that they weren't used to Scotland, naturally, where do you think Hogwarts is? But this was a different part of the country, and this wasn't school, and so far there was no one telling them where they could or could not go. And the allure of the peaceful lake was too strong to deny.

"Ever come here before?" he asked, as he glanced at her as they made their way to a small path that ran toward the lake itself.

She was happy when she saw that he enjoyed the drink as well and she took another sip of her own, silently admired the smoothness.

When he reached out for her arm so chivalrously, she couldn't help but smile and look down at the ground away from him. She also couldn't help but notice how gentle and sweet he was as the walked along. And how caring and warm he seemed, how could she tell all this by just a mere arm link? she thought.

She started to enjoy the rough music in the background, probably warm ups, and was glad to be heading away from that headache. The songs she wanted to hear most won't be on for awhile and right now she liked the path that Ludo was leading her on. Scotland was a pretty place and there was much to look at in the lighting.

"I don't think so," she answered and looked back at him, "What about you? And what brought you to come here by yourself before you ran into me?" She truly was curious why a nice, intelligent, and athletic guy such as himself wasn't rousing around with his regular group of friends or even a girlfriend. She hoped that latter was nonexistent.

"No, this is my first time being here," he admitted, "but I was always curious about the place, ever since I read that poem. You know, ye tak the high road and I'll tak the low road?" He rolled his r's in a fairly reasonable imitation of a Scots accent as he recited the famous lines. "I never understood what it meant, but it piqued my curiousity. Not that being here makes it all clear," he laughed.

She was so pretty, he had wondered himself why she was alone, considered himself to be very lucky. Of course, maybe she was meeting someone that wasn't here yet. That would be more his luck. "My friend Gary was supposed to come with me," he said with a wry smile, "he was as excited about it as I was. But a family thing came up, and he had to go, so here I am." He shrugged, as if to say some things can't be helped so why sweat them. "What about you, are you meeting anyone here? Some other girls.... a guy maybe?" Although he hoped it wasn't the latter. Not that he minded competition, of course. That was what quidditch was all about, and most sports. But he wanted a chance to get to know her before her undoubtedly handsome and wealthy and debonair better half showed up, a chance to let his light shine before he got blown out of the water, so to speak.

She laughed, too, "That was a good accent! Oh, I know that poem. And I'll be in Scotland afore ye," she continued to giggle.

"Oh, I hope everything is all right," she said meaningfully, but she hid her contentment that he wouldn't be abandoning her anytime soon. No matter the circumstance though, she was glad he was here. "It was sort of a last minute thing for me to come so I never got a chance to make any plans... and there's no guy." She wasn't sure why she felt like she needed to state the last bit, but now it was on the table.

Ludo's smile grew even bigger at her words, and he felt a certain contentment at knowing that at least in the foreseeable future he would have her attention. He raised his glass toward hers, crying out, "Here's to not having plans and making adventures!"

And to think he'd almost chucked it all cause Gary couldn't come. He made a mental note to thank his best friend profusely when he saw him again.

Ludo clinked his glass against Marly's - if plastic can truly be said to clink - and returned her bright smile with a matching one of his own. The drink was delicious, the girl was more than pretty, the scent of the heather was intoxicating - and the lake was alluring. What more could a guy possibly ask for?

"Tell me more about Marly," he said, "I want to hear it all, what you like, what you don't like, what you like to do...." Not that he was writing her biography, mind you, but he wanted to know what made Marly McKinnon tick.

Marly's head felt lighter, when she saw his smile, it was so handsome, and very fitting of him and his personality, she thought. This was such a fun guy and its been awhile since Marly had any real fun.

She was taken aback for a moment, she hadn't been interviewed about herself personally since probably her first year at Hogwarts. She didn't know how to respond and what shocked her more was that a very attractive boy was asking her and he seemed very sincere.

She smiled, "Well, let's see," she paused, "and stop me when I start to bore you," she pleaded, she knew she didn't have a very unique background. "I'm an only child, I have a cat, I like watching Quidditch but I'm terrible at playing it, I sometimes run around the school grounds when I can, I hate soup and I can't sing, but I try and when I do I make sure no one is around within a ten mile radius, my favorite color is orange," her voice raised, she looked over at him with questioning eyes, wondering if she was answering right and if she should stop before she embarrassed herself.

He was completely enchanted by her words, by the expression in her eyes which seemed so unsure and seeking of his approval, wishing to please - and she was certainly finding approval in his own eyes. Her voice was music to his ears, and he listened to each and every word, hanging on it with fascination, drawing a mental picture of Marly, which he filed away with her image. Ludo was a people person, he enjoyed communicating with them, he was outgoing and personable, but this was more than that - he was sincerely enjoying her company as a person and as a girl.

"Do you hate all soup, or is it just selected varieties?" he asked curiously. "Myself, I really don't like borscht, but I have to eat it cause it's like this family dish. But I do like potato soup, my mom makes that good. Maybe I just don't like cold soup," he laughed, "cause normally I do like beets." He continued to smile at her, wanting to hear more about her life, and about her personally.

Marly couldn't believe the attention and wonder in his eyes, all because she said she hated soup. Now she wanted to know everything about Ludovic Bagman. Gary, Quidditch, Family, School, his likes and dislikes, and why is he so interested in her. She enjoyed conversation immensely, but she also loved a two sided conversation more. This conversation however was turning out to make her top ten list.

"All soup," she laughed, "sometimes even the word can make be gag, but I think I can handle chicken noodle. Does your mom cook a lot? What's your mom like? Your dad?" she asked wanting to here about the woman who raised this great guy.

Ludo was flattered at Marly's obvious interest in him and in his family. A lot of girls pretended to these things, but actually couldn't care less, and didn't really pay attention to what was being said. But she seemed to be hanging on every word.

"My mom - her name is Elena - cooks a lot. She cooks all the time, I think. Even though we don't all live at home, I think everyone still eats there," he laughed. "She's a great cook, and a wonderful mom. I don't know what I'd do without her. My Papa, his name is Vasily, he works at the Ministry, in the sports department. My brother Aki works there too. And I hope to get a job there myself, some day." He smiled at her warmly. He could so easily lose himself in those beautiful eyes. "And I might as well mention my other siblings," he laughed. "Tatjana is older than me, she's married to Sergei and they live near us. Bahrudin is younger, he's in his second year at Hogwarts how, also in Hufflepuff. Just your typical Ukrainian family," he grinned. "Nothing unique about us..."

The more he spoke of his family the more intriged about his life she became, it sounded like his family was huge, loving, and caring. Her mind kept note of which name went with each affiliation. She smiled, she wasn't used to having such a big family tree. She was an only child and she only had her mom and dad, really. To top it all off he wanted to work in the Ministry like she did! She beamed a great smile.

"No, no, no, you're family sounds lovely, and very original. I'm an only child, but it sounds like you're very close to your siblings. I just have my mom, Addison, and my dad Raymond. He works at the Ministry, too," she smiled, "in the Department of International Magical Cooperation. I'd like to work there, too." "Actually," he confided, leaning closer to her, intoxicated by her sweet scent, "although the ministry would be good, I'd really like to land a spot with a professional quidditch team." He hadn't even told his family that yet, it was a secret dream of his.

"Pets? Yes, we do," he smiled, "actually we just got a puppy over the summer, because our old dog passed on, poor old girl. This one's just a puppy. Her name is Babushka, and she's a Sharpei/Labrador mix. Wait, I think I have a picture of her." He pulled out his wallet, and opened it to a moving picture of an adorable golden ball of fur, which he proudly held out for Marly's inspection. "There she is, there's my little Babs. I think she would love you, Marly," he said impulsively, "I hope she gets to meet you." And he blushed at his own boldness.

Her heart practically skipped a bit when he got closer to her, "I can see that for you, you're brilliant on a broom and Captain already of the team," she smiled kindly and felt embarrassed as she openly admired him. She decided to talk again quickly, "Maybe you could do both? After you retire in Quidditch move on to the Ministry?"

"I'm sorry about your dog," she said sincerely and waited until she could see the new puppy. She happily gave an adoring sigh has she looked at the picture, "She's simply precious, Ludo. I'd love to meet her," she said excited and reached out to touch his arm. "You'll be able to meet my cat back at Hogwarts. His name is Gawain and he's a brown mackerei tabby. He's so funny and friendly around all animals. I'm afraid I don't have a picture of him right now."

"I think so, too, I've been considering that," he replied, pleased at her interest, in him, his family, and in his puppy. And her empathy with the death of his family's dog. She had to be the most sincere and caring person he had ever met.

"I'd love to have you meet my whole family," he continued, as if it were the most natural thing in the world to be inviting a girl home to meet his family, when in fact it had never happened before. He'd never been interested in one like this before, his focus having been on home and family - on his dog and his friend and his quidditch. This... this was rather breathtaking, in an almost giddy way. Like the sensation of flying, but without being off of the ground.

"I'd like to meet Gawain," he said, seemingly unable to stop smiling at her, unconsciously moving even closer to her, the lake a beautiful backdrop behind them as for a moment he forgot to breathe.... and the next thing he knew his lips were brushing lightly across hers, almost as if pulled by magic, rather than his heart's own desire.

"That way you get the best of both worlds you know?" she smiled, "and live without regrets."

"Really? I'd love that very much," she said smiling brightly with twinkling brown eyes. She was happy that he would want to include her in with his loved once, but she was even more happy when that meant he also would want to spend more time with her. Ludo was funny, sweet, and loving and she saw no reason why she wouldn't ever want to stop being with him. Didn't they just officially meet each other five minutes ago? And already she felt like she knew him inside and out.

"He'd like you," she said captivated by his genuine smile on his handsome face, which seemed to be drawing closer to her. Before she knew it her lips were tingling with the light pressure of his on hers. She closed her eyes, she'd never felt so grounded but so free at the same time.

Ludo felt as if his heart were expanding within his chest so much that it filled his entire body, as if a candle had been lit within his soul, glowing brightly and illuminating everything with a soft warmth, especially this pretty girl who was actually kissing him back as if, perhaps, this kiss was effecting her too.

He pulled back slightly, a dazed, slightly goofy expression in his eyes, his lips upturned in a matchy goofy grin, as he gazed into her eyes, as if to gauge her reaction. The normally gregarious Hufflepuff could only manage one word at this time, though, which was a soft but awed, "Wow........"

That really said it all, though.

Marly couldn't believe how uncharacteristic she was being for an analyzing Ravenclaw. She normally thought things through and rationalized them, but for some reason she never felt so sure about doing something so intimate like kissing and opening up her heart to a stranger in the same hour.

Her lips tingled and her stomach fluttered after the kiss ended. She blinked a few times to clear her head. She smiled back at him giggling, "I couldn't agree more."

He twined her fingers through his, raised them to his lips and kissed them reverently, unable to contain the radiant smile that graced his lips. "Shall we continue our walk, milady?" he asked, pointing in the direction of the lake, and the path which wound around it. His heart was beating hard and fast, yet at the same time he was amazingly content, and he wished to prolong this feeling, this moment, for as long as possible.

Marly felt strange comfort with her hand in his, and she too couldn't stop smiling for the life of her. "Please, let's, good sir," she said courtesying and speaking in an old courtly manner in play. She hoped this day would never end, but since the days must, she hoped this relationship was just beginning and for now had a long ways to go.

[ooc: Not a problem! I'd love too! I'll try to get on again soon so we can chat!]

"I think you packed it, not me, Gid," Fabian grinned in return, unable to resist teasing his twin, "did you forget it, after all?" Although he knew he hadn't, that it rested there inside of Gideon's backpack, carefully wrapped and merely awaiting discovery. They had found it in a small shop on one of their excursions and had decided that they had to get it for Em, their best girl friend and favourite beard. It was a full moon bracelet, made of freshwater pearls on a silver chain, and they thought that it was as feminine as Em was.

"Here, let me help you," he told his brother, playfully taking his hand, so that their conjoined hands were now rooting around in Gid's backpack, taking the opportunity, since they were out of sight of the two girls, to squeeze Gideon's hand lovingly.

"Sure, blame me," he just couldn't keep that grin off his face as they bantered back and forth like any other brothers would. "If I did I'll just have to make it up to Em," he winked at the girl with that dazzling grin still on his lips. It was there, he knew, but this was all the better opportunity to stall.

"Always," he replied, stroking the back of Fabian's hand with his thumb gently, taking a moment to lock eyes with him. "We have tonight," he whispered softly. Later, once things settled down, they would have their tent to hide away in from prying eyes.

He reached his other and in and grabbed the midnight blue velvet box that contained the bracelet, putting on a triumphant smile. "Found it!"

There were things that Emmy suspected, but she was more keen to turning a blind eye than saying much. Besides, it couldn't possibly be what her suspicions said. That was just. No, that didn't happen. They were twins! Twins are extremely close. She smiled to them, starting in with something to add but Lily grabbed her attention.

In those few moments, while the brothers exchanged their private words, Emmy was left debating something with Lily. About the tent. Emmeline removed her bag and tossed it to her friend. "Go find us a spot, yeah?" Seemed her friend was too worried about meeting up with pretty boys, then standing around while Emmy got all the attention.

Confused, she waited for a moment. Looking between them like they were crazy. "What is it?" Why would they even get her something? That just seemed silly.

"Open it and find out," Fabian laughed, taking Gideon's hand, with the box ensconced in it, pushing it toward Em to take. "Unless you've suddenly developed x-ray vision that we don't know about, it's the only way you're going to get into it," he teased. He had pressed up against Gid while he did these, his eyes dancing delightedly as he waited for Em to open up the box and see what they had brought for her, his body automatically responding to his brother's, luckily he could not be seen.

"It's just a token of our deep love for you, Em," he smiled, "and for you being such a good friend to us." And our best beard he added to himself, although it was understood between the three of them. Em knew they were gay, she just didn't understand the extent of their relationship with one another.
