The real Masque is still alive; my guess is Potts is just wearing her mask and a wig or something.

But where did she get a Masque wig from? I mean, we saw Pepper wearing the mask and hair in front of the burning building in the middle of nowhere that they fought in. There wasn't a wig shop there. I did actually wonder if Pepper was impersonating her, in her mask, but figured she couldn't be because of the hair.

Maybe they'll explain it later. I will wait.
