I always get distracted by stupid stuff. How does the wheelchair get into the car? I imagine the driver's seat is modified so it can plug in, as we don't see Bab's crawling from the trunk back to the front of the car, but the headrest in the car is totally different than the one on her wheelchair.

Did they just stop talking for 5 minutes while Steph silently helped her into the car? Is there some kind of sci-fi technology where she puts the chair in the trunk, then the seat like moves back to fetch her and slides forward again?

So many stupid questions!

How does the wheelchair get into the car?

Either a lift or pure upper body strength. I don't think her car has an actual front driver's seat, just a latch for her wheelchair.

Also, I've seen lone wheelchair people get into and out of their cars without help.

So have I, and if they hadn't shown the different headrest that's what I assumed would have happened, but... this is just confusing. :)

Anyway, it would have been a more dramatic scene if Steph was helping her in the car while she was being a total harpy. At least IMO.

Hm, I think I would have liked that.

It doesn't have a front driver's seat, but it *does* have a front driver's headrest?

Well, considering the headrest is an anti-whiplash safety feature and her chair has no headrest, I could see a car for her having just the headrest/back of the seat, without the seat part.

I imagine she just slides into the driver's seat of the car, folds her chair up and hauls it in the car.
