ETA: If she has a "death wish", then that's something she has in common with Cass's initial foray into Batgirldom.

I am liking the detail put into Steph's house. You can see it's a little run down.

I'm already a little weary of the Steph-has-to-prove-herself-to-everyone thing. I can't decide whether or not I like the fact that Q. Miller referenced Babs trying to scare Charlie off of being Batgirl with Steph's autopsy photos.

I like that she's being stepped on by everyone and not giving up.

The "death wish" comment set off all kinds of this-is-DC-we-can't-have-nice-things alarms in my head.

Literally out loud at "I got better" -- obligatory!

Ok, the hell she doesn't know how to sew!!! Her first costume was designed and created from scratch by her and herself alone! I like how ~~eggplant~~ purple is still everywhere in this title, by the way.

Wait, did Babs just "pank" Steph? Watch for a few new deviant art pieces inspired by that panel.
