Personally, I was all about the Magic Belt. I mean, yes, it'd be incredibly awesome to have an army of flying monkeys at your command, but only three times? That'd be torture! You'd have to have iron self-control not to use them all up before the first week had gone by. 'Let's see, I've ordered the flying monkeys to carpet-bomb the houses of my enemies with rotten eggs... I've had them take me on a round trip to the capital cities of Ev, Kahani and Wonderland and back... Now I have just one more wish. What shall it be? It's got to be REALLY awesome... What shall it be?!' You'd wind up panicking and just blowing it on asking them to fetch you a carton of milk from down the road or something, because the pressure would be JUST TOO GREAT. The Magic Belt, on the other hand, gives you, basically, what you want, when you want it. Now, if one were to put it on and say 'I wish for complete and indefinite control of the flying monkeys, without having to worry about the damn hat' - that'd be the best of both worlds, now wouldn't it?
