Sucks to be a Monkey King
From Sonic the Hedgehog 203, I've posted one of the under used characters from the comic based on the video game. His name is Monkey Khan, hailing from the Asian reign of Mobius, and is a figure based on Goku from Journey to the West.  And even though the Monkey has appeared in a few issues since his long absence in the series, I like him already.

The issue starts out with a trio of kids throwing rocks at Khan for ruining Mina Mongoose's concert two issues earlier. Sonic speeds in and tries to teach the orphans a lesson of resorting to violence (and geting schooled by the kids when they point out how he pulled a classic case of "A Misunderstanding Fight" Khan apologies and Sonic notices that the Monkey was acting too calm for his easily enraged self, so he decides to talk to him about it.

Later on, Snively and his girlfriend (yes, the short bald dork with the huge honker as a girlfriend), the Iron Queen invade New Mobotropolis and were confronted by the Freedom Fighters. Iron Queen uses her special Techno-Mage powers to take control of Bunnie's limbs,  making the cyborg Mobian fight her comrades to the point of exhaustion. The kids who threw rocks at Khan ask him to help, and you can't say no to crying kids, who are also orphans. Monkey Khan Manages to distract Iron Queen long enough to break her concentration on Bunnie, who is then rush out of the city by Sonic to be out of the Queen's range. Unfortunately, this leads to something worse.

My God! He turn Nega-Sayain! You know this reminds me of the Dragonball Evolution, only this is actually superior in every way. The next issue is coming out next week, enjoy the link to the preview. http://bumbleking.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1946&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0&sid=c097082fc54e252d95a3ce36bca04ad7 here.

I miss Yardley on this book. I know he's doing Sonic Universe but I'm used to seeing the main Sonic book with his fantastic art. Not that this art is terrible, I like it well enough, but it's no Tracy Yardley.

Personally I kinda like new art. I love Yardley's work, made the comic look "official" but I wouldn't mind seeing some new art work from time to time.

As long as we don't delve into anything like some of the comic's lesser days, I'm cool with this.
