And the fact that Norman expected any other reaction from Strucker simply serves as yet another example of how profoundly unqualified Norman is to be the "master manipulator" that Marvel insists on portraying him as, because in terms of how well he understands other people, Norman is, and always has been, so profoundly socially dysfunctional that he makes even nerdy Peter Parker look like the epitome of smooth grace by comparison. The only credible way that Norman's takeover of the Marvel Universe can be believed is if you buy off on him being as charming and as gifted at reading other people as Joe Quesada thinks Norman is, but the reality is that Norman is so openly psychotic that trusting him not to fuck up, in a way that should destroy his entire power-base, is like trusting Pat Buchanan to avoid saying stupid shit about the Jews.
