You know, I like Gail as a writer of fiction, but as a writer outside of that?
She really would do herself a favor by posting less and lurking moar.
Granted, pretty much everyone who weighed in on the comments thread to that article on The Beat managed to embarrass themselves - except for Kurt Busiek, who once again PWNED every other participant in the debate with sheer LOGIC - but Gail somehow managed to come across as even more ridiculous than either Rich Johnston or Mark Waid (which is really saying something), not only because she kept alternating between "Rich and Heidi are stupid liars who are harming the industry" and "Rich and Heidi are still my BFFs, though!", but also because she kept saying, "Whatever, it's not like this is all that important," and then, EVERY SINGLE TIME she said she'd made her "last post," SHE KEPT ON POSTING.
Heidi literally had to LOCK THE THREAD to get Gail to shut up, FOR HER OWN GOOD.
I mean, I'm a total asshole when it comes to online social conduct, so if even *I* am looking at you and thinking to myself, "Wow, you're ... really not handling yourself well on a public forum, there," then you KNOW it's bad.
