The idea of Diana taking the time out of her day to approve a statue of herself for the Japanese toy market strikes me as genuinely ridiculous. I just don't think she has the vanity or interest or time to do that. I can't even process that notion...Diana hates paperwork and red tape, anyway, even as a diplomat, which is why she had a large staff to handle that sort of unimportant nonsense.
I haven't read any scene in Rucka's great run that implied otherwise, but maybe I missed it. Can you provide a scan, please?
