I love the sound of KROOM!
Spoilers for X-Men Legacy #227.



Last issue, Gambit found Trance and handed her off to Ariel... only for Ariel to lose her between teleportations. And Rogue absorbed a chunk of Ares' power.

This issue, Rogue and crew find Hope who's having a bit of power trouble which leads up to this sweet little moment:




I wasn't sure about the idea of Legacy becoming a Rogue-centric title for her to mentor the younger X-Men, but after this I kind of like it.

Anyways, Black!Mary Marvel Moonstone shows up, beats up Gambit and Danger, and, well...



Rogue (temporarily) has super-strength! Kroom! A superheroine is actually wearing a bra!

Good issue, though.

Yeah, Xavier fixed her in the last arc and now she's come to SF to hang out with the X-men for a bit.

She helped fix Rogue's powers.

I think it's Fake!Ms. Marvel's look of shock when she realizes that Rogue wasn't vaporized that really sells it for me.

Just in what strength class is Moonstone? What I remember from the old Masters of Evil days, that punch from Rogue should at the very least give her a month or two in the hospital.

I hope I'm not the only one to celebrate the long-lived tradition of Ms. Marvel vs. Cars. Even if this is Karla, not Carol, and the car happens to be a frickin' armored personnel transport.
