No I belive that comics books aren't reality and should be given some leeway in how the portray people within a comic book world.
The unreality of the science and magic surrounding characters in superhero comic books makes it all the MORE important that characters behave like real-world people. I can believe that a man can fly, but I can't read any comic books in which Lois Lane can't see past a pair of glasses as a disguise, and in fact, I so utterly despised her for that shortcoming that it made me quit ALL comics, at the age of EIGHT, and not start reading them again until COLLEGE.
I don't see how that has anything to do with my own personal worldview of the real world.
You repeatedly argued that Norman Osborn's takeover was "realistic," and that BND Peter is an accurate reflection of "normal twentysomethings" in real life. It has EVERYTHING to do with your personal worldview of the real world, because YOU BROUGHT IT UP.
