Oh yay, Land is back on Uncanny. He did, however, draw a pretty kick-ass Magneto in Ultimate Fantastic Four several years ago but he seemed to actually try back then unlike today.

I think his Nightwing run showed that when he wasn't tracing porn, Land was a decent artist. First time I saw his work I was impressed, and then I started to notice that his Black Canary looked just like his Sue Storm who looked just like his Emma Frost. They were all the same exact woman with different hair styles.

I will say, though, when has to do characters he can't find on the web or in magazines he does a half-way decent job (but that's not often).

Being a huge fan of Nate, I am simultaneously thrilled and terrified that he's coming back - terrified because they may well screw him up even worse than Ellis did.

Oh, and Nate could break SP-Prime like a twig. That'd be a fight I'd pay to see.

*sighs*

One day a new EIC will arrive at Marvel and Greg Land will be fired.

I keep telling myself that. But I just can't believe it anymore.

I approve!

and has a fateful encounter with The Dark Knight that will forever change her life!

I disapprove!

I'm glad Rucka's showing the negative effects DADT can have with Batwoman, but I'm worried her origin will involve a Brucespiration like he did with Helena.

Ooooh, a comic that deals with how awful DADT is. I like it. I'll have to read it, since I think I'm going to write an article on that for my school paper. ILU, Rucka.

But man, I hate the faux!Perez art on that Adventure Comics cover. It looks like someone tried to ape his style, and failed massively in the face.

I realize that Terra is the most famous dead person associated to the Outsiders, but shouldn't they have more trouble arising from Katana, given that her sword tends to capture the souls of the people killed by it?

(Yes, I know Black Lanterns are weird. She should still have to deal with the bodies of the people trapped in sword.)

Dark Beast! Mystique! Mimic! Nate! Some other dude I don't give a crap about! Written by Cornell and drawn by Kirk? This is indeed very relevant to my interests!

Didn't see the seem at first and just assumed Mystique was wearing something with uber-cleavage. Then again almost-her skin-colour part of her costume? It's a bit like Nigthcrawlers in that regard.

Addendum: Yay Pyro!
