Can't wait for this. And it might actually come out on time due to the revolving artists.

I can't say I am an avid reader of the Ultimate titles but after the big wreck of Ultimatum, whats left to continue ?????????????

Y'know, "Ultimate Comics" sounds like something Rob Liefeld would make . . .

Nah, Rob's always been more of a late 80's/early 90's slang guy. Hence AWESOME and EXTREME. Ultimate's probably a bit too intelligent for him.

Nonono, if it was a LIEFELD comic, it would inevitably have the words, 'Extreme' 'Blood' or 'Death' in the title, or all of the above.

Millar has said he loves Loeb "As A Person". Combine that with the first two lines of dialogue in that series and you get a surprisingly subtle "F You" to Ultimatum...

Read the Chicago interview and replace the word joking with obviously not joking.

"Surprisingly subtle" for Millar, maybe, which in real person terms translates to his switching out his twenty-pound sledgehammer for a twelve-pound.

Sorry, Millar. Even if I liked what you were doing before, Marvel killed the Ultimate Universe for me, and possible hidden commentary on the quality of the past few years aren't going to cut it. Nothing short of "it was all a dream!" will bring it back to life.

I know that I'm probably one of the proud and the few, but Millar you're back baby, all is forgiven! I'm prepared to stick out the first arcs to see where this is going.

WTF indeed, Nick. WTF.

Three weeks after the events of Ultimatum, Samuel L. Jackson is still not sure what the hell he just read.

I just hope this thing bombs spectacularly so we can finalle let the Ultimate Universe die it's long deserved mercy death.
