Man alive, we are SO lucky that Hudlin didn't have a stint on Spidey or the X-Men (he didn't did he?), because oy yoy yoy, the stuff he gets wrong here. I'm going to go over it one by one:
Peter is NOT that prickly over his wife. Sure, he loves her, and is therefore protective of her, but they've been married for years at this point - I'm pretty sure he's more secure than that.
Neither is Petey that insecure regarding Aunt May. I mean, it looks to me her and Jarvis were just having a pleasant chat - what's he so up in arms about? 'You're TALKING to my AUNT? How DARE you? Get out, you masher!'
Peter KNOWS Logan - he's known him for years. It's not like they're best buds, but I'd always thought that they had a fairly congenial relationship - I'm pretty sure he wouldn't react that way if he saw him talking to his wife.
Logan is nowhere near as psycho as he's portrayed here. He's actually more or less in the right during the first few scans - it's Spidey who's being the jerk - but the 'nobody mouths off to me like that' line and the 'take it like a man' attitude he assumes having just SPIKED SPIDEY IN THE GUT HARD ENOUGH FOR HIM TO PASS OUT FROM BLOOD LOSS, are just plain and simply out of character - not to mention how EAGER he is to fight Spidey in the first place, or the 'you're a nerd who got lucky' line. The man's a professional; he wouldn't be acting as petty as this.
He isn't a wimp, either - he wouldn't be whining about how much Spidey's punches are hurting him. The man has had his HEART RIPPED FROM HIS BODY, for cryin' out loud - he's gone up against the Hulk, the Juggernaut, Magneto. He is NOT the type to whimper about Spidey not fighting by the Marquess of Queensbury rules.
This is actually an art comment, but I don't care for this version of Aunt May.
