IGN has a preview up for Green Lantern Corps 39.

Actually, a late night picnic at Wrigley isn't so bad by his usual standards.

Apparently the person who carved Jade's statue forgot to give her pants.

How long have they been calling the cape graveyard Valhalla?

You know, going to Wrigley Field would actually be an awesome date. Especially if you bought a ball to play catch or something. That's quite romantic, for Guy.

The only way it could have gone wrong would be if Guy'd forgotten to make arrangements and the security guys came in and tossed em out.

Or Ice turned out to be a Cardinals fan.

I could never be lucky enough to get a fella to take me to Wrigley Field for a date.

Of course, I'm not a superheroine, either.

Tora does think Wrigley Field is great at night, as well as running through a mental checklist of mind-controllers and shape-shifters, to decide who controlled or replaced her boyfriend. Guy brought wine with </i>proper wine glasses</i>, instead of expecting them to drink straight from the bottle. And it's not el cheapo wine either, he actually consulted someone (Alfred) on a good wine.

Guy/Tora is yet another pairing I need an icon for.

Holy crap, did they ever mess up Soranik in that double-page spread, unless Korugaran anatomy is a lot weirder than it looks on the surface.

For some reason I thought Guy's idea of romance would be similar to Jayne's.

I think they've been handling Guy really well lately.

And those last two preview pages: is anyone else hearing that Daxamite guy's voice as Christopher Lee?

Guy is my favorite Lantern (Tied with Kilowog actually) anyway I have a sinking feeling that he is going to be going out in a huge sacrifice at the end of the Blackest Night. They have actually given him a chance to grow as a character and brought true emotion to him, it just feels like they are going to give him a hero's farewell.

Now this is good and bad, I enjoy Guy, as I said my favorite Earth Lantern and not seeing him anymore would be rather sad. However if he goes out as a hero and actually get a Heroes send off I would be content with it.

Now odd question, what ever happened to his clone Joe Gardner and his brother "Militia"? I know Joe and Militia/Honey showed up in BoP but have they been in any other stories I should read?

"That's why I never kiss 'em on the lips."

I'll admit, when Nathan Fillion was out big hope for Hal Jordan, I really wanted Adam Baldwin to play Guy. Dye his hair and it'd work just fine.

Hey, but Adam Baldwin was Hal Jordan in a JLU episode. I was a patiently waiting for the rest of the Firefly crew to make an appearance. I would've loved a Mary Marvel voiced by Jewel Staite and Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) voiced by Alan Tudyk.

Oh, Great, now I'll have "The Ballad of Jayne" stuck in my head all night.

Jayne
the man they call Jayne

he robbed from the rich
and he gave to the poor
stood up to the man
and gave him what for
our love for him now
ain't hard to explain
the hero of Canton
the man they call Jayne

Thanks.

(Damn I miss Jayne)

I don't get why you would construct a comic book with a Ring. Is it a comic he has already read? Do the rings have comic boopks installed into them?

He could just have the Ring scan a bunch of books at some point, and keep them in memory. But you think trying to read everything the glowing bright green would hurt your eyes.

I wonder if there's something about wearing the ring that makes it easier to read.

I suppose it would be a lot like just taking a book you own along with you.

I shipped Jade/Kyle back when she was still alive. But she's one of the few characters whom I'd prefer if she stayed dead as bringing her back would just be one heck of a mess(and possibly only for future cannon fodder).
