Hmm..
I almost agree with you. Certainly in close quarters, I would say it is quite realistic that the X-men would struggle here. Only Rogue and Colossus are stronger, and there's no one here who is as fast or as agile. Nightcrawler included..(In fact even the Beast, if hed' been there would be hard pressed to keep up with Spidey.)
Though of course, if Kurt wasn't too busy gaping at Spidey's awesomeness he might realise that he could just teleport out of the web!
However unless you are super fast or agile, there really isn't any point in going up against Spidey alone, as you'll never get a hit on him. (Of course if you've got near Hulk strength or durability there isn't much Spidey's going to be able to do to take you down either..10 Tonnes only goes so far)
So I guess there is a certain logic in ganging up on him, as maybe, just maybe, if he's too busy avoiding some of your team-mates then you might be able to land a hit on him. (I suppose that should be why there are groups like The Sinister Six..)
Spidey's unique combination of powers are indeed quite formidible. And given that most mutants only have the one power, not too many of them should be able to take him down alone. (Though of course it shouldn't be a problem for telepaths..)
So yeah I would say, Kurt's man crush aside, this fight is actually quite believable.
