Hulk is woobiest one there is!

The Leader is trying to trick the Hulk into helping him, but Hulk chooses to help Spider-Man instead. Why?

Because Hulk remembers earlier in the story when Peter warned him about a sea monster. Aww.

I like the way they've built up a friendship between Spidey and Hulk in Marvel Adventures 'verse. Spidey always watches Hulk's back and Hulk comes and kicks ass for Spidey as necessary.

It's almost like Spidey is the Rick Jones for this version of the Hulk, isn't it?

A whole lot of motto! A grown up geek, and a teen geek, they'd should have had the sort of relationship that we saw with Peter and Dr Octavius in the second movie.

You know, I once saw a veeeery vague reference to Peter having once been Hank Pym's lab assistant at Empire State (which I assume can't have lasted more than 0.5 seconds), but I was never able to find more specific information, or even confirmation from another source. This makes me sad. I really liked the interaction they had one issue of Marvel Knights: Spider-Man, where Peter was all, "Yeah, sorry my spider tracers are so lame, I invented them when I was fifteen," and Hank's like, "...You invented these when you were fifteen? Holy crap!"

"Always" as in MA verse, or in 616 as well?

Why waste your time and money on 616 spiderman when you have a more likible version in the Marvel adventures one whom is respected and not look down on by the other heroes that even Hulk is his friend. Not one whom does stupid crap like get drunk and have one night stands, make deals with devils and get so emo that it just gets annoying and makes you not wanna root for him.

I love that arc, at the end, when the Abomination was fighting Hulk and ask what is different as he's beating Hulk, Hulk said, Hulk has friends, then said friends come to his rescue, and the end scene makes me tear up in a good way, friends don't send friends to outerspace! The endscene was almost group hug.
