Definitely agreeing. As fantastic as Rourke is an actor (I practically cheered and cried whilst watching the Wrestler recently), Whiplash as a villain needs a far better look than half-nekkid with some power lines attached to him.

That said, a lot of noise has been made over Rourke's willingness to research the role and go and find out about Russian prisons and whatever, and the sort of tattoos they get inked, and as such, that just might be his costume. Still, he is meant to have some sort of association with Rockwell's Justin Hammer, so who knows? Maybe he can suit up Whiplash properly.

I still think Rourke would've made a better Crimson Dynamo, but then that might be too similar to the Iron Monger for comfort.

	The Dynamo is perfectly workable, provided they made him different from the Iron Monger. Stane clearly went the "bigger is better" route. The Dynamo would either have to go in the opposite direction, sacrificing power and protection for speed and maneuverability, or else stack up almost perfectly with the Iron Man suit. 	Iron Maiden, and I think Laralie, showed up in Captain America as part of the 'Femizonia' storyline. Not sure if Black Lotus was there as well, but seeing as how pretty much every other female villain with a pulse made an appearance.. (Reply to this) (Parent)

It's an omen!

I seriously would've preferred Emily Blunt as Black Widow, it's a pity she had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts. However, I think I'll have more trouble accepting Don Cheadle as Rhodey/War Machine, I really liked Terence Howard and wish he could've agreed about the money and stayed. Still, Cheadle is a good actor and he could make something good out of it.

The irony of course in looking at the original pic is that that girl looks way more like the Black Widow of the comics than Scarlet J does...
Although I suppose Scarlett's costume and hair is still is a lot closer to the original than the look they've given Mickey Rourke..

(Sigh!) I think I was spoilt by the first Iron man into thinking that this was one franchise that was really going out of it's way to accurately reflect the look of the books..Suppose I should have known better..

Still, I've seen worse deviations from comic books from Hollywood, so I remain hopefull that the finished film will still feel like an Iron man story.. :)
