You know it stinks, but you can't help yourself.
IGN has the interview with the team behind the Hulk books!!! Yes, plural. With new from SDCC
Interview here.
Beward the coming of Wolrd War Hulks!!!

I guess the transformation begins when the "red rooster" is let out to play.
Explains a lot.

Like the Hulk, only with more stupid freaking grinning.

No offence to the Hulk fans... but what makes the Hulk so appealing as a character? I can't think of him as anything other than a green, unintelligent blob of mass. :\

There's much more to him than that, but have you ever tried "primal scream" therapy?

It has its uses.

Depends on who's writing him, really. It ranges from Big Green Plot Point to worthwhile reading pretty eratically. I don't have any Hulk stuff to share though to showcase both ends of his bipolar barometer, hopefully some other folks can step up to bat for him. My favorite version of Hulk I think has to be what I call the Idiot Savant hulk. You see Banner's mind working at a subconsious level while Hulk-chaos is going on. The Batman/Hulk crossover is Idiot Savant Hulk.

"The Batman/Hulk crossover is Idiot Savant Hulk."

That evoked a Batman/Hulk amalgalm to me. Young Bruce Wayne, exposed to Gamma Radiation, manifests a superpowered/mutating Batman personality (created by the violent death of his parents) under crime-related psychological triggers.

sounds better than Green Lantern Bruce.

though I still love the one someone wrote where, right after the BANG BANG in Crime Alley, a young Bruce wanders into a subway tunnel where he meets the wizard Shazam...

That would be really cool, actually, considering his stand on magic right now.

Peter David spent years making the Hulk either Gray or "Merged" and was much more intelligent. The Gray Hulk was a selfish jerk constantly spoiling for a fight, while the Merged Hulk wanted to use his strength and intelligence to do some real good.

An element of the Savage Green Hulk that works is that he has a "fighting savvy" worthy of a professional fighter. The "Brainless" Hulk is surprisingly on the ball when it comes to combat.

See, any other writer would have made her fight or call for backup.

Just as Morrison showed the Monitors feeding vampirically on the DC Multiverse, so do Loeb's writing suck like Lampreys on the Marvel Universes - sucking away blood without giving anything back. These should be out of continuity, and they're not.

Hopefully her "probability field" powers will kick in, and that water tower thing will find it's way up the Red Hulk's backside. :P

Wow ,when Churchill has a good inker, not only does he ape McGuinness's art really well, but it looks good too.
