	A question - has it ever been definitely established just what is on the Latverian flag? Here it appears to be some sort of eagle silhouette (or something like that), but I've seen it as an elaborately gothic 'L', something involving a 'D' - has it ever been nailed down as to just what, precisely, it is, or is it generally left up to the whim of the current artist? I'm just talking out of my ass here, but I suspect it's whatever the artist in question deems kind-of-European enough for the story of the moment (griffins, gothic lettering, etc.).

Earning my No-Prize, it could be that Doom is such a micromanaging control freak that he's constantly ordering the graphic designers of Latveria to come up with new flag designs, and since his country varies, at the whim of the writer in question, from a prosperous and benevolent dictatorship to a tyrannical dystopian shithole, it could be that the quality of graphic designers that he's able to tap varies wildly from flag to flag as well.

"NO, YOU FOOL! DOOM DOES NOT CARE IF THIS FEATURE CAME WITH THE LATEST PHOTOSHOP PLUGIN, BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE ASS TO HAVE THE FLAG OF LATVERIA REMIXED WITH A SWIRL IN THE CENTER! JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A PLUGIN DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU HAVE TO USE IT! Which is actually kind of awesome, if it really IS a holiday, because every day, it means there's a random chance that Doom is basically going to declare a Senior Skip-Day for the entire goddamn country.

Yep, it's a real holiday. I'm guessing Doom's tastes run more to peasant festivals and such - I find it difficult to imagine him in a Hawaiian shirt - but, yeah, it's basically 'Doom is in a good mood! LET ALL REJOICE! Free ice cream cones for all!' Which is why all Latverians dread the next time their leader gets beaten by THAT CURSED RICHARDS, because they know that Doom is going to be in a foul mood for weeks afterwards, which means no ice cream cones.
