Some Funny bits from Deadpool #12
Greetings True Believers! I bring you Deadpool! Also we mark the evolution of his "Frienemy" relationship with Bullseye. So enjoy the awesome!

DP put Bullseye in a hospital and Norman comes to collect him. Bullseye is angry and spoiling for a re-match.

Norman tracks down DP.

Meanwhile DP prepares for battle and eats taco. Norman has been berating Bullsye and wonders why he's paying him. Bullseye retorts that he has oodles of money from past jobs and he now works for fun. Norman responds: "Fun? Gettin' your ass kicked by a B-lister like Deadpool is fun?"

Time for Bullsye vs. Deadpool round 2/3/4? Deadpool equips Monster Truck of +4 smashing. Bullseye pulls out his Bazooka of Smiting.

Bullseye then gets hit with a civilian's car. When he's about to kill the lady driving Deadpool traps him under the truck. Deadpool then pulls out his Chainsaw of Finishing. "Chainsaw! For the win! HAHAHAHHAHA!"

Bullseye then tells him that Norman wants to buy him off to get him to go away (lie) Deadpool buys it and they head to a computer so Bullseye can pay him off with his own money (secret!)

Then we get to this charming, bromance moment.

Awwww, so sweet! Frienemies 4-EVA!

In the Thunderbolts crossover issue they showed that Deadpool came and saved Taskmaster and then both of them fought with the Thunderbolts. The fight ended when Deadpool got his head chopped off. The end of the issue showed Deadpool (with his head sewed back on) at an ATM with Taskmaster so that he could pay him (by using a credit card he stole from Osborn). Deadpool asked Taskmaster how he got away from the Thunderbolts and Taskmaster said that he was fighting Ant-Man, so it really wasn't that hard.

The funny thing is that in the issue Taskmaster was disguised as a Deadpool decoy the whole time, so I don't think Osborn even knows that the guy he's putting in charge of stuff over in Avengers: The Initiative is the same guy who was helping out Deadpool.

Due to a series of freak coincidences, various people holding the Idiot Ball, and Norman's naked opportunism, the Green Goblin has been placed in charge of what used to be SHIELD (now HAMMER), and the American government's superhero regulatory/controlling apparatus. He's milking this for all it's worth, by replacing several of the good guy heroes with evil counterparts, hooking up with an "evil" cabal to coordinate dirty deeds behind the scenes, and working on yet more plans to destroy/humiliate/annoy Spider-Man.

We're pretty sure this will end with Norman crashing and burning, just in time for Marvel's next big line-wide event.

	Something that's been predicted since the beginning of Dark Reign, emphasized by the refusal of all but a handful of big name villains to back Norman and how he's needlessly provoked almost every hero and villain he's encountered. 	Historically, Deadpool tends to not be involved in any of the 'big major events' so you should be alright as far as needing to know Marvel backstory. Deadpool is getting a little more face time than normal lately, but Deadpool derails plotlines so easily I doubt that'll change too much. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	In terms of sheer fighting ability, he always has been. He's held his own against Bullseye before and beat Taskmaster with his arms and feet bound. He's also dominated fights with Domino and Gambit and fought Wolverine to a stand still. Deadpool may act funny, but he's no less deadly because of it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Very motto. He's actually one of the top fighters in the MU. Because of his training and healing factor, he's developed a deadly, kamikaze-style of fighting that is very hard to counter. His constant antics are a more hardcore version of Spidey's verbal distraction.

But DP's fought and held his own against Wolvie, Spidey, DD, Cable, Domino, Hulk, Bullseye, Punisher and many others.

	You know what would clinch it? If it wasn't the emo Hawkeye Avengers and Archenemy Spiderman who expose Norman's perfidy..but Deadpool! DP was the one who got the goods on the correct way to kill Skrull Queens (evidently more than just shooting them in the brain). (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Here's a thought... Colin Farrell as Bullseye in the upcoming Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie. Fox owns the rights to both characters, so it's possible. (Reply to this) (Thread)

"Okay, I admit it. That was frikkin' awesome." should be in every Deadpool comic ever. Complete with that grumpyface on whoever's saying it about Wade.

It can be like how in every Steven Seagal movie there's always that segment where they go "Who IS this guy?!" and yammer about how awesome he is. Except funny instead of self-indulgent. Which is kind of the whole point of Deadpool.
