This seems to be an ongoing trend at Marvel, where it's the most stuck-in-childhood-mindset of the writers that are given the least editorial supervision or moderation.
Things like T'challa becoming the greatest thing since black ink, the ridiculously, ridiculously overpowered and "infinite" Avengers mansion, Tony Stark possessing an intelligence and wealth that makes Lex Luthor look like he's the village idiot in some third-world country...
All of it smacks of "Little Billy's First Superhero". There's no restraint, no maturity, no real hardship other than the Big Ones... just the wish fulfillment of on-the-cusp-of-adolescence boys run amok. "I am super duper uber smart, and I have eleventy bajillion suits of the coolest power armor ever, and I'm rich enough to buy anything, and my house has a million floors with doors that go everywhere... OH! Oh, oh, and I've totally had ESS-EE-EX with all the hottest girls!"
Combine this with the fact that they seem to have the majority of sneery-insulting interviews, then, well. While DC seems to be being administered by idiots, Marvel seems to be being administered by children.
