There's two opposing forces in creating a superhero, wanting the hero to be heroic and wanting the hero to be badass. I guess it's obvious where Hudlin stands on the relative importance of the two, and something tells me it's not where the guy who wrote "with great power must come great responsbility" stood.
And those are some pretty pathetic ideals he's attributing to "the motherland."
