Two Fights from Immortal Iron Fist 11 and 12.
And so it came to pass, there was a tournament held in the Seven Cities of Heaven.

Herein lies two fights. One at the end of Round 1. And the other at the beginning of Round 2.

Oh Davos, when are you going to learn that in Kung Fu of this level, the only reason why you get to be an old man is because you're a survivor and more hard core bad-ass than the striplings that come and challenge you.

What a strange coincidence. I just bought this TPB hours ago just for these scenes and the great "My Name Is Daniel Rand, I Was The Immortal - " when Iron Fist took one some of the properties of Superman. I still get goose pimples making the mental comparisons.

"Faster than a speeding bullet.....
More powerful than a locomotive...."

Bride of Nine Spiders creeps the hell out of me. Not because of her powers, but that she smiles and laughs at threats of get beat to a pulp.

I love Bride of Nine Spiders. There's something really quite brilliant about the archetypes that Bru and Fraction played to with the Seven Immortal Weapons.

Fat Cobra's everyone's favourite, I think, because of the sense of humour he has and the 'wenches of waiting!' catchphrase, but I really love the Bride. The 'jejeje' laugh is hilarious in particular scenes and chilling in others. If you read the annual that's published in the very same trade, it's odd to see how different she seems from who I assume is her direct predecessor, whereas Danny and Orson both seemed quite similar, in a way.

Does anyone know if it's worth picking up the third volume that they've published - The Tales of the Iron Fist, I think? I know it deals with the older Iron Fists, which is enough to intrigue me, but I'm a bit dubious about buying a set of side stories.

The Tales that Fraction wrote were pretty good. I did write this series off after Fraction left, actually. But am planning on setting aside what I own and getting the Omnibus (All of his IF work). mmmm.

I loved Pirate Queen and the one with the two prisoners. I'd go for it, they're romping little adventure tales in their own right with or without the Iron Fist legacy.
