I can see this book making Dinah box-office poison in the eyes of the idiots running the show just like Cass.

I kind of get the impression "Hollywood" doesn't give two tugs what comics do. In less than ten years, Dinah's been on television/DVD in for different incarnation: BoP, JLU, Smallville, BATBATB, and a cameo in New Frontier. I wouldn't worry about Kreisberg screwing up anything for Dinah.

You've missed the point I'm afraid.

The poor sales of the recent Batgirl miniseries was taken by the PTBs that Cass couldn't headline a comic and not that folk hated the acts of hackery being performed on the character, despite many and vocal comments to that effect.

The continued ineptitude and hackery being inflicted on Dinah in GA/BC is enough to make readers swear off the title, and in so doing convince the PTBs that Dinah no longer has what it takes.

Sorry, "box-office" made me think movies. That said, I kind of agree with the notion that Black Canary couldn't headline her own comic.
