Ugh. Dinah KNEW her mom was Black Canary! In Birds of Prey she was telling Sin about how she gave the #1 Mom mug to her ironically because BC1 would always miss school events and the like. The only consistent part with what I've seen before of Dinah's origin is that her mom didn't want her to be a costumed hero.

Blech. Why is this book ruining two of my favorite characters? I'm dreading learning what happened in the main story with GA.

Because Kreisberg is obsesses with doing everything he possibly can to reverse all the awesome character development that Dinah got in Birds of Prey.
