Bishop's new look

In X-Force #16, Wolverine went stabbity.

Now, in Cable #16...

Hello there, Ultimate Nick Fury! (FYI, the gash on his forehead is from fighting Cable earlier in the issue, not from Wolverine).

What body part do you think Bishop will lose next?

Mine too.

Now he's a psychotic single-minded individual deciding to kill a girl to prevent the future he lives in (which would be a paradox, no?) despite the fact that Cable says she'll actually save the future. Add in some very badly acted space-time opera, a half-dozen issues of fluff, and some rather good Deadpool snark and there you go. I've brought you up to date on 16 issues.

That is intensely stupid. Bishop is a) a cop and b) a NICE MAN. Oh, and c) knows time travel doesn't work that way.

I was gonna get this in trade, too. Thanks for the synopsis.

The series hasn't been all bad, and I am (although I WISH I wasn't) genuinely curious what Hope's power will be, or if she is Jean Grey 4.0 (or whatever version she's up to). Many issues have been really disappointing though. The latest mini-arc with Stryfe for example has me ticked off to the point where I'm going to give it one more issue.

After an issue that ended with something like "the shattering conclusion of Messiax War next isue!", the next issue was...Bishop ran and hid in the past and Stryfe, who only showed up the issue before, got his butt handed to him. Cable and Hope were largely unaffected other than Hope was now confused.

The issue where they found Deadpool has so far been the most entertaining overall as you listen to his story. The one just before was pretty good too. The roach President of the US...with a story about what Bishop did to the world that I can't even repeat...that one was just...wow.

Oh nuts, I forgot there was Stryfe. I confess: I love Stryfe. has he been doing ridiculous things to make you so displeased, or do you just not like the character?

Now I am curious about this tory again! But Bishop doing things to the world.. auhh.

Maybe I'll just pretend it's an alternate Bishop. For all Marvel's versions of people, it could be.

Stryfe just seemed to randomly appear and had beated Apocolypse (not really explained how) and this was after Bishop had destroyed the world.

He ended up going down pretty easily. He acted horribly cliche "villian" in my opinion. All he was lacking was a handlebar mustache to twirl.
